THE NEXT FIFTY
As a project of The Next Fifty, Docomomo WEWA and Historic Seattle bring you this three-part lecture series and project website to celebrate the architectural legacy of the Seattle World’s Fair.
Our lecture series is just one of a plethora of events and celebrations happening from April – October, 2012 that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fair. The Next Fifty, a program of the Seattle Center Foundation, is a six-month dialogue about the future. The Next Fifty “spotlights eight focus areas that represent the Pacific Northwest’s leadership and innovation over the past 50 years, inviting the kind of debate and discovery that forge futures.”
