MOHAI CELEBRATES CENTURY 21
The Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Seattle World’s Fair with a full roster of of exhibits, programs and educational resources, presented throughout 2012. Download this pdf for the full calendar of events. Here are some highlights:
Century 21 Walking Tours
Learn about the cultural, architectural and historical legacy of the fair! Take a 90-minute walking tour of the Seattle Center Campus led by MOHAI and the Seattle Architecture Foundation guides. Tours will be offered April 26 – October 20, 2012 (except Labor Day Weekend) on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 10 a.m. and 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 11 a.m.

Celebrating Century 21 Exhibits
This series of three complementary exhibits explore Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair and its impact on the Seattle of today.The exhibit is produced by MOHAI in partnership with Historylink, with support from the Seattle Center Foundation. More details on MOHAI’s website.

Remembering Century 21: A Community History Project & Celebration
MOHAI invites you to explore the memories and meaning of Seattle’s 1962 World’s Fair through a series of free workshops, co-hosted by Seattle Public Library, King County Library System and the Seattle Center Foundation.
Workshops will guide each participant in developing a project to be shared in a closing community celebration on September 29, 2012. These free workshops are offered on the second Saturday of each month, January to June 2012.Advanced registration for workshops and seminars is requested.
